TISCO Stainless Steel Industrial Pipe Production Plan for the Second Half of 2025
Overall Goal:
Production Target: Achieve a total stainless steel industrial pipe production of 46,000 tons, with conventional products accounting for 72.6% and high-value-added products (such as extra-long pipe, thin-walled pipe, and special alloy pipe) increasing to 27.4%.
Quality Target: Maintain a stable first-pass inspection pass rate of over 99.2% and zero major customer quality complaints.
Cost Target: Achieve a 3% year-on-year reduction in unit production costs through process optimization and lean production.
Delivery Target: Achieve an on-time delivery rate of over 98% for orders.
Market Analysis and Forecast
Energy and Chemical Industry: The second half of the year is the peak construction season for petrochemical and LNG projects, and demand for corrosion-resistant and high-pressure-resistant stainless steel pipe will continue to rise.
High-end Equipment Manufacturing: Demand for high-precision, specialty stainless steel pipe is steadily growing in the semiconductor, biopharmaceutical, and new energy battery industries.
Export Market: The recovery in infrastructure construction in some overseas markets (such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East) is creating export order opportunities.
Key Work Plan for the Second Half of the Year
Preparation and Startup (July-August)
1. Equipment Overhaul and Maintenance:
Task: Utilize the production downtime in early July to conduct a comprehensive overhaul, calibration, and maintenance of the cold rolling mill, bright annealing furnace, and non-destructive testing equipment.
2. Raw Material Supply:
Task: Based on order forecasts, strategically purchase and maintain inventory of key steel strip specifications to ensure at least 1.5 months of production capacity.
3. Technical Preparation and Training:
Task: Conduct process reviews and technical briefings for key orders for the second half of the year (such as TP321 high-temperature pipes and 316L ultra-low carbon pipes). Organize skills training and safety education for frontline operators.
Full Production and Tackling Key Problems (September-November)
Breaking Through Capacity Bottlenecks:
Task: Focus on the production capacity of the cold rolling and bright annealing processes. By optimizing process parameters (such as reducing the annealing furnace ramp-up time) and implementing a two-shift system, we strive to increase the capacity of bottleneck processes by 10%. Special Quality Improvement:
Task: Launch "Weld Quality Month" and "Zero Surface Defect" campaigns. Focus on controlling the intrinsic quality of welds (through eddy current and ultrasonic testing) and external scratches and bruises.
Trial Production and Mass Production of High-Value-Added Products:
Task: Complete the process standardization for Ø6mm ultra-small diameter thin-walled tubes and achieve small-batch production. Start trial production of super duplex steel S32750 tubes.
Sprint and Summary (December)
Task: Focus on completing the last batch of orders for the year and ensure on-time delivery. Coordinate logistics to cope with the pre-Spring Festival transportation peak.
2. Inventory Review and Optimization:
Task: Conduct a comprehensive annual inventory, eliminate obsolete products and semi-finished products, optimize inventory structure, and reduce capital tie-up.
Strictly implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to ensure a critical equipment availability rate of above 95%.
Increase spare parts inventory by 15% from the current level to accommodate emergency repairs. 3. Supply Chain Assurance:
Establish strategic partnerships with core suppliers to ensure a stable supply of raw materials and competitive pricing.
